Bolivar Medical Center Welcomes First Baby of 2019

Bolivar Medical Center is ringing in 2019 with the year’s first bundle of joy. Weighing 7 pounds and 12.3 ounces and measuring 20 inches, Jovanny was born to mom and dad, Monday, Jan. 1, at 10:58 p.m.
“We are so excited to meet our new baby boy!” said Mom. “The physicians, nurses and staff at Bolivar Medical Center all helped to make this such a special and memorable experience for us, and we are so grateful for the wonderful care our family received.”
The Women’s Center at Bolivar is committed to providing high quality, compassionate care close to home for new and expecting parents in the region. The Center offers services for the unique physical, social and spiritual needs of women, including childbirth classes, women's care specialists, labor and delivery suites, lactation and breastfeeding support, newborn nursery and care and parental education.

A part of LifePoint Hospitals®, Bolivar Medical Center's Emergency Department is a level 4 trauma center, and wait times are available on the website. BMC is a 164 bed acute-care general hospital accredited by The Joint Commission, which offers a full complement of medical and surgical services. The hospital also offers a wide array of outpatient services and in addition, includes a 35-bed nursing home, 12 swing beds and 12 geropsychology beds.
